On Wednesday, Lenovo India declared that 6000 units of ThinkPad Yoga 460 convertible laptop has been supplied to Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology (KIIT) in Bhubaneswar.
The new age laptops will certainly enhance students for participating in online tests & classroom sessions in a methodical way.
Speaking on Lenovo’s plans for convertible tablets, Rohit Midha, Director, Tablet Business Unit, Lenovo India, said, “As the world’s leading PC+ player, Lenovo is ahead of the game in terms of consumer centric design and technology that adapts to users. Lenovo India is also committed towards the government’s “Make in India” campaign and hence any form of educational collaboration in this regard will be a social responsibility as well.
ThinkPad is light-weight & it’s carbon fibre body is quite tough enough for the students to carry. The touchscreen feature of ThinkPad Yoga 460 has also helped our institute to eliminate the use of papers in classrooms, said by one of the Management Representative, KIIT.
